Service Manager -Services to Education team

(Term Time + 1 week outside of term time)

Future Steps Occupational Therapy is looking for an inspiring Service Manager to lead our Services to Education team, someone who can combine strong leadership, service delivery excellence, and commercial awareness to grow services that make a meaningful difference for children and young people. Working closely with our multidisciplinary teams and education partners, you’ll drive high-quality outcomes, innovation, and service development.

Working Days:

  • Hours - 37.5 hours per week, term time (39 weeks term time + 1 week outside of term time)

    • Monday – 08:45 – 4:30 (remote working from home)

    • Tuesday – 08:45 – 4:30

    • Wednesday - 08:45 – 5:45

    • Thursday - 08:45 – 4:30

    • Friday - 08:45 – 4:30

SALARY:

£39,000 - £43,000 Pro rata 

(depending on experience)

what we’re looking for

Understanding of occupational therapy and child development

Experience in schools, nurseries, or children’s services is a plus

Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills

Confident and compassionate when working with clients of all ages

KEY ROLES

Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team (including Occupational Therapists and administrative staff) in a non-clinical capacity

Ensuring the high-quality delivery of community-based education services

Managing key contracts with schools, academies, and Local Authorities

Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and partners

Overseeing performance, safeguarding, quality, and compliance standards

Identifying new opportunities, driving sales, sourcing and completing tenders
