clinic assessments

OUR Clinic Assessments

identify your child’s strengths and challenges, from social skills and school performance to emotional well-being and physical coordination.

Reports are detailed and extensive and include an in-depth analysis of a child’s needs and support required. This helps us create a personalised plan to support their growth and success in daily life.

Neurodevelopmental Screening Assessments

We’re getting ready to offer Neurodevelopmental Screening Assessments to help families identify the best next steps for their child. These screenings don’t diagnose but guide you towards the right services if you are considering an assessment for ADHD or ASD for your child.

Register your interest below, and we’ll contact you when appointments are available.

We offer

a number of clinic assessment packages,

including packages aimed at supporting EHCP applications and renewals.

Early Years Assessments

01

Newborn Behavioural
Observations (NBO)

The NBO is a tool to help parents and practitioners understand a baby’s unique behaviour from birth to 3 months. It observes 18 different behaviours, such as how they sleep, react to stress, and respond to social interactions. This helps identify the baby’s strengths and areas where they may need extra support. Parents often feel more connected to their baby and build stronger trust with their practitioner after using this tool.

02

Peabody Developmental
Motor Scales (PDMS-2)

The PDMS-2 is for children from birth to 5 years old and assesses both fine and gross motor skills, such as grasping objects and moving around. It also looks at how well children integrate their vision with motor skills.

03

Miller Function and
Participation Scales (M-Fun)

The M-Fun tool is used for children aged 2 to 8 years to evaluate their motor skills and participation in everyday activities at home and school. It focuses on fine motor, gross motor, and visual-motor skills to see how well the child performs in daily life.
