The Sensory Life Story is a therapeutic approach combining life story work, sensory integration and emotional regulation to help children understand their experiences, emotions, relationships and sense of identity.
Who is the group for?
For children who are fostered, adopted or living under a Special Guardianship Order (SGO) who may be finding it difficult to understand or make sense of their life experiences.
What will we do?
We’ll work collaboratively with the child to explore their story in a safe and creative way, while helping them understand their emotions and body signals, develop regulation strategies, explore their strengths and relationships, and think positively about their future.
